In this plant, latex backing is done on various mattings of coir, jute, sisal, wool, and also on poly propylene.  The latex backing machine was  imported from Denmark on 1979.The latex foam is applied on the mattings.  The name FOAM MATTINGS was also because of this plant. There is no other plant in Kerala to compete with the speed of the FOMIL’s latex backing machine. The technology of this imported machine is still unbeatable. The installedcapacity of theplant is 12,00,000sq.m per annum.
