FOAM MATTINGS (INDIA) LIMITED

Foam Mattings (India) Ltd (FOMIL) was incorporated in the year 1979. FOMIL is an entity functioning for the promotion, manufacture and marketing of coir, jute and sisal products. With a wide range of products like, matting, door mats, rugs, carpets and host of other environment-friendly products, FOMIL caters to the needs of domestic and international markets. The products of FOMIL are epitome of eco –friendliness. All of its products are made from natural fibers like coir, jute, sisal, cotton, etc. Foam Mattings already established its brand name in internal market as well as external market as “FOMIL”.

FOMIL started its commercial production in 1981. Initially there were only two sections(1) Latex Backing Plant and (2) Mattings Plant. Later Foam Mattings (India) Limited started Rug Carpet Plant, Dye House and Power loom Plant for manufacturing high quality broad width and lower width mattings. The latex backing plant was imported from Denmark in 1979. Overseas buyers were insisting the exporters to use FOMIL latex backing. FOMIL Dye house also facilitates service to other exporters and co-operative societies in getting their yarn and fiber undergo dyeing process at FOMIL. FOMIL also extends the production facilities in power looms and matting plant to the other exporters and the co-operative sector in producing special coir products.

FOMIL provides employment to about one hundred people directly and around five hundreds indirectly. The key strength of FOMIL is its highly skilled man power and excellent manufacturing facilities. Specially trained skilled employees in the manufacturing plants crafts the merchandise of the company.

FOMIL have in house facility for doing all type of works from Dyeing of yarn, weaving, latex backing, and other value added process. Export Customers come to FOMIL for getting their production job done considering FOMIL as a common facility shelter for doing any type of work related to Coir, Jute, and Sisal.
